The area is renowned for its distinctive dark red soil, and, with a nearby stream offering plenty of delightful picnic spots, is ideal for walking and all manner of country pursuits. The nearby town of Tiverton has a pretty canal offering boats for hire. Slightly further afield is the historic city of Exeter, with its huge variety of shops and restaurants.
On entering this attractive and spacious property, which has beautiful exposed beams throughout, you will find yourself in a large entrance hall with plenty of space to kick off those muddy boots and relax after a day of exploring. There is a WC here and also a handy office to tuck yourself away from if required.
